Strong customer service but poor UTV quality

点评：We booked a full-day UTV rental from ABC.
I will clarify this review pertains only to u guided rental, and NOT tours which ABC specializes.
What was great: Customer service. They staff was friendly, easy to get on a call with to book. We were picked up and dropped off from our resort, and they went above and beyond to check-in mid-day on our rental to ensure everything was going smoothy. They are reliable and care about customers.
What was disappointing: the quality of machines we rented. Firstly, the machine was not the one promised when we made the booking. We rented a 5-seater UTV, which was verbally confirmed to be the Honda Talon 1000 (performance UTV). We were disappointed when we arrived that they had only the Honda Pioneer (a non performance UTV). They do not have Talons. Not all employees understand specific models or UTV categories.
Mid-way through the day, we requested a new machine. The initial machine was aged and had a loose roof which rattled and made the off-road experience painfully loud. It felt like the UTV was rattling itself to death. Luckily, they exchanged for a performance 2 seater mid-way through the day and even made the trip to our current destination to swap the vehicles, which adds to my earlier point about great customer service.
Unfortunately, even the new machine was in poor condition. The door latch would barely open, the seat belt would hardly lock, the vehicle was out of alignment with a crooked steering wheel, and the sway bar system seemed non-existent.
For a novice off-roader, these may be nit-picky issues. However, given the price point ($500+ for a day, unguided) and my diligence in ensuring a performance vehicle, it was a disappointing outcome.
