点评:Don’t confuse the 30 minute time slot on your ticket with an entry window as is common at other local attractions. Despite having a disability pass that permits free walk-up entry at any time, we paid a few euros to pre-book as a courtesy. Entering the chapel meant showing this pass to two separate ticket guards stationed one after the other who both very rudely told us we were late and may only stay for fifteen minutes, despite a notable lack of queuing visitors for the next slot. This site is not crowded which is a bonus - there were only around half a dozen others there in the early afternoon.
However, the art by Massolino & Masaccio is contained in a small chapel recess it is possible to glance at and be done in three minutes. There is pretty much no supplementary information on site. Don’t expect a beautiful place to immerse yourself in art as the pictures suggest - beyond the small area of interest the rest of the church is drab and partially under construction. If you’re staying in the area sure drop in but for non-scholars, it is absolutely not worth going out your way when you can see comparable and much more extensive works by artists of this period and style in the major galleries. I regret walking over here when there are so many other frescoes and decorated churches and sites of interest in the city.
