点评：You know this place because you’ve probably seen it on TV from many angles, and it looks impressive. In person, it’s much, much more impressive and definitely worth a visit.
Tickets can be purchased either online or directly at the entrance. Entry is through the side and starts with a SPP check, similar but more serious than the one at the airport, so leave your suspicious items at home. After entering, you walk through the garden to the palace, where some ladies with boots to put on your feet are waiting for you and the palace tour begins.
There are many absolutely gorgeous and very well-maintained rooms. Many of them are used protocolically by the president and can be visited. All of them are impressive, but the room where members of the government take the oath of office is incredible.
As you can imagine, the place is very secure and there are many gendarmes and SPP members present. In their typical style, they are visible enough to know they are there, but not so much as to confuse or disturb.
You can also visit the church, but surprisingly for BOR, it's quite modest. That's no problem, because from the garden you can see the spires of BOR's opulence monument.
