The beach itself is long, spacious, clean, and very well maintained. There is plenty of room for walking, relaxing, taking photos, or simply enjoying the ocean views. I especially liked how open and accessible it feels. Everything is close by — hotels, shops, cafes, restaurants, public transport, and the famous Cavill Avenue.
Surfers Paradise Beach is also patrolled by lifeguards, which makes it feel safer for visitors, especially families and tourists. As always in Australia, it is important to swim between the red and yellow flags, because the surf conditions can change.
This beach is also very popular with surfers. The waves can be strong, so I would say it is more suitable for confident or experienced surfers rather than complete beginners.
