点评:Arrived at Hollywood Bowl Milton Keynes mid afternoon on 21st October 2024 with my wife and grandson looking to treat my grandson to a couple of games of bowling and something to eat. When we arrived we went to the reception desk to pay for our games but no one was there, we waited about 4 minutes or so and still no one came so my wife and I went for a walk round looking for a member of staff.
We looked in the bar area, up where the bowling lanes and dining areas are and still no sign of any staff at all. We returned back to the reception desk and waited again but alas no staff in sight at all.
I noticed a two way radio left on the counter to I spoke into it politely asking if anyone was available for the reception desk, within about a minute or so a young gentleman who from his white shirt a lanyard round his neck was either a duty manager or supervisor came rushing round the corner aggressively saying " you cant use the walkie talkie its company property for staff use only" I tried to explain that I only used it because there were no staff around, he just wouldn't listen and said everyone was busy and that the radios were only for staff use. I did try again to explain that we had at this time been waiting over ten minutes for to attend to us but he was not in the mood for listening so i said just let me pay for my bowling as we had been waiting long enough.
We had initially intended to stay for the afternoon but if this was the service we were going to receive we just paid for one game and left. Apart from the appalling and rude service we received I must say as a retired police officer that the security in your Milton Keynes branch was almost no existent i could have freely walked behind the bar and walked off with several bottles of spirits or anything else of value if I was so inclined.
Needless to say we will not be back and look elsewhere for places to treat our grandson.
