点评:I've come to have an appreciation for gardens since passing 50. It was always animals for me in the past, but I've come to realise gardens can be beautiful. I've seen some wonderful examples in places such as Salzburg and Edinburgh, and Oslo's Botanic Gardens left me equally mesmerised.
Shortly after you enter the gardens, you come to a pond and waterfall garden. I was very impressed with all the small paths you can follow. I felt more freedom to get close to the impressive features at Oslo Botanic Gardens.
The rest of the gardens was very nice too. I especially liked the English Garden (being an Englishman) and the herb and vegetable garden. The greenhouses were also very good, but very sweat-inducing.
Lovely place to visit, and it's free. Pay to get in to the Natural History Museum - which is on the same grounds - though. If you're a keen photographer then you'll find much to practice your art on here.
