Good spot for people watching with a lovely food market on some days

点评：I much preferred the feel of Place Guillaume II to Place D'Armes. On the Saturday there was a wonderful market, mostly food and flowers. I walked about enjoying the lovely aroma of properly fresh fruit, fragrant flowers and a lot of cheese. Great to sit on one of the many benches or in a cafe and people watch.
On the Sunday I was having a late lunch at one of the cafes when suddenly there was loud, thumping disco music from the entertainment stage set up in the square. Great if you like that sort of thing, not so good for a relaxing meal (but a one-off).
No sign of the reconstruction works mentioned by earlier reviewers except on my last day, I was having a relaxing last drink before heading to the airport when right next to the restaurant some workers started some metal works involving very loud drilling and hammering (and this over a lunch time!).
