点评:Stopped here on a nice October day to visit Ethan Allen's House. Got there right as they opened at 10 and took the first tour. We had a pretty big tour that grew as people showed up. The house survived for so long because someone lived in the home until the 1970's. Allen owned this home after the Revolution.
You get a quick walk thru the native village on the way to the house. We then stopped at the garden where our guide went over what had been planted there which were the crops that Allen would have planted on his farm. We took a walk thru the house it is only a couple of rooms as the guide told us about the life of Ethan Allen and showed us some exhibit's about how the farm would have operated.
After touring the house, we went back to the visitor's center and watched the movie and saw the exhibits in the center.
Just as a travel note the entrance to the road that leads to the house is not very well marked and comes up suddenly so slow down when you get close.
