Doc Holliday's Grave的点评
点评：It is a bit of a strenuous hike to the cemetery and the trail isn’t well maintained - lots of mud and snowy spots without handrails - not a hike for anyone with mobility issues or if physical activity isn’t your thing.
It’s also kind of a haphazard cemetery - no direction as to how the plots are laid out - there’s evidence that one of the walking paths goes right over someone’s grave. Apparently it’s not even known where Doc Holiday is truly buried - as he was a pauper when he died so he very well may have been buried in the unmarked ‘Potters Field.’ There is a grave marker for him, but it is more ceremonial than actually his grave.
This is an historic cemetery, but one of the most disorganized that I’ve visited (I like visiting old cemetery’s for some odd reason).
There is a magnificent view of the town from the cemetery as it overlooks the surrounding area.
Although this is a wonky cemetery to say the least, the hike is worth the views.
