点评：My wife and I were fortunate earlier this month to visit Santuario Ecologico for the second time. It is one of our favorite places on earth. If you have an opportunity to visit it, I urge you to do so! In addition to walking its wondrous trails - observing and listening to the varied species of trees, plants, animals, and birds in it - I encourage you to take advantage of the nature programs offered, as well as those that provide coffee information and cooking instruction. By doing so, you will not only have enriching experiences and learning, you will support - by paying the program costs - the important ecological work of Familia Salazar, which protects and nurtures the Santuario.
If you need lodging in Monteverde, I recommend highly the Airbnb on the property, hosted by the Salazars. Every member of the Familia is so welcoming, kind, and helpful - as are members of their staff. My wife and I have stayed twice in the MotMot Room, which is the smaller of the two available. It is very comfortable. Finally: If you want to enjoy a delicious Costa Rican breakfast, spend the small extra amount for the splendid Gallo Pinto option cooked and served by Mireya.
