Fab castle but very disappointing meddiveal fair!

点评：The actual castle keep is beautiful and timeless, like walking onto a movie set, the last time I'd been there was when I was 7 so it was great to revisit. the low review score is not for the actual castle as that's top rate but my frustration and low review is actually for the hedingham mediveal fair day we attended. Firstly hedingham is closed most of the time for weddings which means if you want to see it, you need to book for one of the event days, the actual mediveal themed fair was seriously disappointing, we've seen much better else where. Only a handful of stalls, selling not much variety. Only a few vans to eat from which meant Ques for food took ages and same for getting a drink or getting to a loo. Very much for kids but dull, I think they could do a lot better and have way more interesting themed stalls on the grounds too. Also because they are closed to public so much, the day was packed so trying to move around inside the castle keep was near on impossible and dangerous with the narrow spiral staircase packed. Also if like us, you actually wanted to read the information boards to learn about the castle, forget it as there were kids everywhere standing Infront and blocking all of them.
