点评：I think the first thing you need to know, before reading my review is that we LOVE small local museums. We visit them whenever we find ourselves in a small town. Our visit to The Rice Museum was disappointing at best. Even after buying our ticket from the least personable man we have ever encountered and waiting almost an hour for our tour, we remained optimistic. Our tour started 15 minutes late because we were waiting for another couple to arrive. Why are you making me wait because of their lack of regard for others? Begin the tour and they will need to either catch up or miss it. Once the tour started our guide was monotone and hard to hear despite having a microphone. He was abrupt at answering any questions. He did not attempt to ensure people were able to see or hear the information he was presenting, After touring several old and dusty dioramas outlining the development of the rice trade, we sat down to watch a 15-minute YouTube video that had the same information that we had just seen in the dioramas. We were then told because we were the last tour of the day that we wouldn't have access to the second floor where all the artifacts were located. Seeing these artifacts was one of the main reasons we wanted to visit the museum. We were told that we could come back the next day to see them...not a viable option if you've traveled to get to Georgetown. We wish the man selling us the tickets would have told us this when we bought the tickets. Also, perhaps we would have had time to visit the second-floor exhibits if we had started the tour on time and hadn't been forced to watch a video. Perhaps the artifacts on the second floor make this a museum that I would recommend for you to visit? But, after the experience we had I suggest you spend your time in Georgetown another way. And that is from someone who loves small-town museums.
