Still charming but missing some important aspects from the past.
Hawaiian Rumble的点评
点评：We’ve played Hawaiian Rumble often but it has been quite a few years since our last trip to Myrtle Beach. It used to be a family tradition to play mini golf here.
But some things just aren’t the same as they used to be. The course was generally the same and in pretty good shape. The volcano still erupted in intervals. There was plenty of seating between holes (especially the first nine where things get a little congested).
But we were very disappointed in a few important things that were missing this time around. First, we didn’t receive Hawaiian leis like we have gotten in the past. Not terrible, but it always was a fun touch. Second, there was no Hawaiian music playing. In fact, there was no music playing at all. The Hawaiian music really makes the entire atmosphere and completes the theming. We asked about it afterwards and one of the workers said they usually have music but they couldn’t get the sound system to work that night. That’s even more frustrating to hear as I would expect there was a solution but no one seemed to care enough to address it. And it’s not like we got a discount since a main part of the theming was missing.
There is still something charming about the course, but there are other newer and bigger mini golf courses in the area that I would recommend over Hawaiian Rumble especially if they cannot find a way to ensure the entire experience is working at all times.
