Florida State Capitol Building的点评
点评：We were especially eager to visit this capitol because its architecture it different from most other US state capitols. We almost decided not to stop at all because the neighborhood around the capitol does not look very safe. Also, there was construction around the capitol that made it challenging to find parking and difficult to find the public entrance to the capitol building.
Once we got inside, we were so glad we visited because all three of the staff members we interacted with were incredibly knowledgeable and willing to answer all our questions about the building and about the legislative process in Florida. We were able to visit both the House and Senate chambers as well as the observation deck on the twenty-second floor. There are fascinating murals throughout the building. At the time of our visit, there was a huge Lego model of the capitol displayed near the visitor desk. Unfortunately, the gift shop was closed probably due to the construction.
