点评:As a longtime contemporary art curator visiting the Hamptons this week, I was looking forward to seeing the work of some artist friends of mine at the Parrish. My husband and I arrived at the museum with my small service dog. Instead of being welcomed with a warm greeting I was treated very rudely by the woman at the front desk, who chose to grill me unreasonably about my dog who helps alert me to having seizures. My dog accompanies me everywhere without issue. Yet this woman chose to scold me in a most inappropriate manner. Once we were allowed in I saw the displays… While some were impressive such as the Dennis Oppenheim work in one gallery, I found other rooms so crammed with art that it created an incoherent setting. They do have some quality pieces from their permanent collection on view, but the main solo exhibition was not very engaging in my opinion.
