Impressive Monument
Gateway Arch National Park的点评
点评：While on a senior citizen's bus trip, we stopped at the Gateway Arch National Park. We arrived shortly after they opened for the day. Our group went inside to buy tickets to ride up in the Arch. There was a bit of a wait for the ticket, then another wait to go through security. We were then assigned a place to stand. If you have any problem walking, please let the attendant know. There are some stairs involved.
We took the tram to the top. They give you approximately 10 minutes to look around and take pictures of the city through the windows. There is a nice view of the Mississippi River. When our time was up, they told us to return to the tram for the ride down. When we got to the bottom, we visited the souvenir shop which was very nice.
Plan on spending a little bit of time on the grounds and inside the monument. I wish we had more time at this place. Beautiful!
