点评：I saw the Shakira concert with friends at Boardwalk Hall. The actual concert was fantastic (although Shakira was over an hour late) - what ruined the night was the event staff. I have never experienced such rude, disrespectful and aggressive staff at any event I’ve ever attended in my life (and I’m 50 years old). Staff would literally scream at us, huff and puff, roll their eyes, slam down temporary barriers to show frustration, give contradictory instructions- then scream at you for not following directions. When one attendee complained about their treatment, the staff mocked him. I’ve never seen so many paid professional employees throw tantrums like toddlers for no reason. The lack of emotional regulation amongst the event staff was absolutely staggering and disproportionate to crowd behavior. I felt like they were prison guards transferring prisoners rather than guiding paid concert attendees. I’ve experienced many concerts and many concert venues - the crowd at the Shakira concert was remarkably well behaved. There was no reason prompting staff’s unruly behavior. It felt like an unchecked power trip honestly. It was very shocking and bizarre. I attended with seven friends - we all felt like we were unwelcome at the venue and staff acted actually angry that we were there. I will never return to this venue again. There was no customer service. It felt like prisoner enforcement.
