Threave Garden & Nature Reserve的点评
点评：There are many gardens we have visited and enjoyed time and time again but this place has something so simple and yet so obvious that others should copy.
SEATS! These are lovely gardens that are so tranquil and inviting on a warm sunny day and what makes them even better is lots of seats spread around so that you can sit and take it all in.
My wife struggles with mobility but not to the point of needing a wheelchair/ mobility scooter so having the extra seating spread around what is in places, quite a steep garden was a great relief which meant she could enjoy the two visits we made in the week ( it was because of the seats we made the second visit). We met some very cheerful and helpful staff. We didn't go into the house but another visitor made a point of telling us how good the gentleman was doing the tour of the house.
There is a woodland walk but this wasn't suitable for my wife but it does look like it would be very good. What used to be the formal garden would make a great area for young families to picnic ( with a little bit of work). The cafe and gift shop are very good and again, lovely helpful staff.
If we ever venture back to the area, this is top of the list for a visit.
