点评:When we walked into the museum, we stood in the lobby for several minutes without seeing anyone. As we looked around, trying to figure out where to go, a woman abruptly said to me, “Ma’am, what are you doing?” I replied we were just looking around, and she responded, rather rudely, that we had to pay.
I said okay, and she informed us that they were closing in 50 minutes and that it usually takes at least an hour to see the museum. She charged us half price and said we could see inside only which only took 20 minutes. We were not allowed to explore the outdoors. This was disappointing because we could have been done before they closed.
In comparison, Fort Larned’s historical site just a few miles away is much better—with more welcoming staff and a more enjoyable overall experience. I would recommend visiting that one instead.
