Too early to see fish but still interesting!

点评：We completely miscalculated the visit to Valdez, I thought at the end of May I will be able to see salmon going up the streams on the way even to Valdez, not to mention here at the Hatchery... but we had seen none :( end of May is simply too early for that, as I have further learned
All in all, still a great place to see, not only an amazing view of the area, literally across the bay from the town of Valdez, with a super easy and fast drive - on the spot big parking lot, plenty to check and read, and even watch videos while being outside - this is open 24h/7 days a week from my understanding, so while the business itself is closed the grounds for tourism are always open and videos playing - very nice, especially if your schedule is pretty tight.
Even outside of the salmon season, play to spend about 45m to 1h here - it's just a nice really open air place, perhaps not so good to visit in the rain :) all free to enter the grounds/park etc. - during the day you may be able to see a bit more inside the buildings but since we visited late in the evening I can't speak on that part
