点评：Wanted to go for a while and when we went, ended up on VE anniversary and a 40s weekend!
The audio tour was good, clear and intuitive to use the device.
The first building gets amazingly busy, which after being I now realise is just a summary of everything you’re going to see anyway - you don’t need to spend too long there.
Re the 40s celebration - The actors were great, especially with anyone with families. The music was perfect, and I kind of hope it continues on days when there isn’t a proper event - while silence would be good for some, it added to the feel.
We took lunch with us , there were plenty of benches in different places to sit, even bearing in mind it was a beautiful day and busy
A lot of the exhibit buildings did get quite cramped (due to numbers) so I would suggest trying a quieter day (especially if you want to learn properly), but it was very informative.
