点评:Fascinating and immersive experience at Bletchley Park. We stayed 5 hrs and could easily have added another 2hrs on to the day. The whole set up is so well done, the exhibits engaging with many hands on displays. The mansion itself is only one part of the ‘museum’ , the huts contain the most interesting information. We certainly benefitted from the addition of the outdoor tour with guide Mike Chapman who was excellent - engaging and knowledgeable, he blend his story of the men and women of BP with humour and it was a highlight of our day, would recommend signing up for a tour when you first arrive. Just a note for anyone with mobility challenges , the tour is an hour on foot with much of the time standing listening to the guide so bear this in mind.Another highlight was the D Day film in Hut A, mesmeric.
Plenty of places to eat and drink and a variety of seats, deck chairs etc.
Have left Bletchley in awe of the sacrifice that these people made to the freedom we enjoy today. Of particular note is that 3/4s of the
workforce were women, a fact that often goes unrecognised.
Will certainly return to see the rest of the exhibits - ticket is valid for 12 months, great value.
