Clare Heritage & Genealogy Centre的点评
点评：I contacted the Clare Heritage and Genealogical Society by email in December 2022 and subsequently sent them payment of aalmost 300 euros and alot of information about my late grandfather's roots in Clare including his father and mother's names, and residence in Ogonelloe, his parents marriage in Scariff, his grand father in Ogonelloe as registered in Griffith's valuation..and was told over the course of the next severa months to be patient, that they had found records for my family and when they cleared their backlog, they'd research my roots and issue a preliminary report. Finally on September 24 after my again asking for a status report, I was elated to receive a response that they were researching my family's history. I was asked to be patient, that I'd likely get their findings in 4 weeks. I waited until Nov 2; and wrote to them again for an update. I called to the center and was told by the person I'd dealt with before that they have found no records for my family but that she would set up a phone conversation when she had more time to explore more the situation. So far I haven't even received the followup phone conversation. Am very disappointed and feel I was scammed. The report I commisioned and was hoping to receive is seemingly not forthcoming. Sadly, I do not recommend the Center.
