Turned away at ticket booth. So disappointing!

点评：We drove about 30 miles out of our way to visits this zoo, we were visiting a nearby town but had some time to kill before we could check in to our hotel. We specifically chose the zoo because we have a Get Out pass and this was one of the places we could get in to using our pass. There was no indication on the website that there was a special event the day we went. We checked twice to ensure we could use our pass on this day. We get all the way to the ticket booth and were told we cannot use our pass because there was a special event that day. NO WHERE did it say there was a special event. Not even at the ticket booth. We were super disappointed and left. If this is the policy then you should post all special events in your website so we would know not to go that day. Absolutely terrible experience. We won’t ever return even though we still have our free passes. This left a bad taste in my mouth.
