Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown的点评
点评：So bad I felt compelled to write this review.
Booked online, no issues and purchased a standard ticket. Got there early (opened at 11) and no queues for entrance which was fine.
Decided to get a cabana, when I got to counter the only one remaining was upstairs wave pool Palapa. Paid over $300 for this along with a small deposit for breakages.
Once I had paid, the counter agent advised me that they had no towels, even though that was part of the package.he advised me that they would give more water, this never happened.
The Palapa had 4 chairs and one lounger, no cushions / pillows, not even on the lounger.
Then the fun part. More than the park remained closed until after 1pm, meaning only the wave pool was open. We complained and were advised that the other side was open. Which it was not (pictures to back this up)
So basically, we paid approx 500$ for entry , cabana, food (19$ for a slice of pizza and a handful of fried, 14$ for a beer or can of seltzer) we had the wave pool and 1 x kids area.
After twice requesting to speak to a manager I spoke to a beverage manager and an aquatic manager who both shrugged and said they had not got the staff?
So why not advise people of this before they pay, particularly before they pay for a Cabana and expect to stay for the day.
The queues for the few slides / attractions that opened were crazy and we ended up leaving at 2pm, out of pocket and p**sed off.
Visiting from Europe and a place like this would be closed in 1 x summer.
Toilets were absolutely filthy within 10 mins of opening and the place smelt like wet dog. Staff lazy and hanging around in groups fooling around.
