Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown的点评
点评：We bought $160.00 in tickets for our family to go to Hurricane Harbor Splashtown. We were there at 10:50 and the park opened up as normal at 11:00am. We beelined it over to where the Tornado, Lazy River, Tree House and about 1/2 of the park rides exist. When we tried to get over to that section it was blocked off and we were told it was opening late and to come back in about an hour due to being short staffed. As far as I could tell, the only things open were 3 slides, the wave pool, the kids club pool and the surfing ride. We returned at noon to the gate still up with a lifeguard guarding it so no one could get back there. The lifeguard was unpleasant when we asked him if they had an ETA of when it will open up. He said he didn't know and seem quite annoyed with us. We returned an hour later @ 1pm to find it still wasn't open and were told again that it would probably be another hour. Finally around 1:45pm we noticed that it was open and were finally allowed to go to that side. There were still 1/2 dozen rides still closed throughout the park from the time we got there at 11 until we left @ 3pm. We spent a lot of money for our family to attend for the 4 hour period we had planned and most everything was closed for almost the first 3 hours. Needless to say, I felt taken advantage of and that I wasted a lot of money so that my kids can stare at a bunch of rides that were closed. I should mention - my family usually goes to Typhoon Texas in Katy but I was told by some friends that Hurricane Harbor is amazing and way bigger than Typhoon Texas. It came highly recommended and we left highly dissatisfied. It was not a good first impression and I am not sure that I will ever go back. I am disappointed because we were really looking forward to an epic day of rides, laughs and fun and it was the complete opposite.
