The Highlanders' Museum (Queen's Own Highlanders Collection)的点评
点评：I cannot imagine a better Scottish immersive experience than this! Kenny and John, our guides were the real deal-as authentic as you can get- the Queens own Cameron Highlanders. They led us on private tour through the Scottish Highlands “must see landmarks”. From the boat ride on the Loch Ness we viewed Urquhart castle, after that the Fort George museum of the Highland Regiment (this was an unexpected highlight), and lunch inside the active military base. Then onto see the Culloden viaduct-a Victorian train bridge, to Klava Karen’s- a druid burial ground and ending at the Culloden battlefield. It was an emotionally moving experience. Our guides were completely open to any customizations of the tour. I wished I was a Scottsman by the end of the tour. Kenny’s singing of three Scottish songs at the end was a rare treat!
I must add that they were exceedingly patient while we shopped for our tourist treasures too! Count yourself lucky to book a tour with them.
