点评:First and foremost, we loved the Pope-Leighey House -- that site deserves a 5/5 for tour quality. The home is fascinating, the information is thorough and well presented by the tour guide, and we really enjoyed that part of the tour. However, Woodlawn brings the score of the overall experience down signicantly, as it receives 1/5 (maybe a 2/5) in terms of tour quality. We wished we had just done Pope-Leighey and departed. I love an old house and colonial history, but the tour guide we had, Odessa, really needs to work on her presentation skills. First, it was impossible to understand what she was saying due to the high speed of her speech and poor articulation. We estimated we could understand about 25-30% of what she said. Second, the tour information was often rambling, incoherent, and disjointed. She also said "right?" after nearly every sentence (very distracting), and her attire was sloppy and disheveled. I have no doubt her knowledge and passion is there, but it might be the worst historical home tour I've ever taken. (Note that I almost never write complaint reviews and hate to be negative, but I am writing this in the hopes that management or the guide sees this and makes some corrections.)
