点评：Visiting Teatru Manoel was one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Valletta.
This is not just a tour of a beautiful historic theatre — it is a truly unique opportunity to see the theatre from the inside, including its backstage world, and to experience its history in a completely different way.
Our guide, actor Jeremy Grech, appearing as “Monsieur Baroque,” was absolutely wonderful. Charismatic, witty and engaging, he brought the history of Teatru Manoel and Maltese theatrical life to life rather than simply telling us facts and dates.
But for our family, the most unforgettable moment happened backstage. Our daughter plays the piano, and when she saw a magnificent Steinway grand piano, she very politely asked if she could touch this legendary instrument. The answer came immediately: “Yes, of course!”
A few seconds later, she was sitting at the Steinway and playing. For a young pianist, this was much more than simply trying another piano — it was one of those magical moments that can stay with you for a lifetime.
We are incredibly grateful not only for the fascinating tour, but also for the warmth and generosity of the people at Teatru Manoel who allowed a young musician to literally touch a legend.
A very special experience in Valletta and one we would wholeheartedly recommend.
