Rowany Golf Club的点评
点评：Not the greatest golf course you’ll ever play and probably not the best course on the island. But you will be hard pressed to find a warmer and more friendly welcome than at Rowany Golf Club. Never planned to play here but on a golf trip to the island, we were unable to play at Mount Murray due to mist and low cloud. All the staff and members at Rowany welcomed us and gave us a day to remember. A slightly “quirky” course, that plays much harder than it seems on paper, mainly due to the tight fairways, difficult approaches to many of the greens and a wind that never dies down. Stunning views of the course throughout, despite the weather - the view from the tee of the elevated par 3 8th is stunning. And we were assured that the views out to sea on a clear day are amazing. Add to this an excellent pint of Guinness in the clubhouse, the words, “hidden gem” don’t do this course justice. If you are visiting the island, play this course. Many thanks to James and all the members we met on the day.
