点评：We played the Links course two days in a row while on vacation on 8/15 and 8/16. We paid the twilight rate on 8/15 and the afternoon rate on 8/16. We felt the twilight rate ($45) was a great bargain for such a beautiful course, and even the afternoon rate of $75 wasn't too bad. I think the morning rate of $95 is steep for the area, but I think people would be more willing to pay it if the carts and practice facilities were nicer. The course itself is one of my new favorites. Spectacular views everywhere. The course looks difficult because there is fescue grass in play on every hole and bunkers around every green. However, the fairways are plenty wide enough and the greens are smooth, not too fast, and challenging without being overwhelming. The fairways are different because the ownership apparently made a conscious decision to use fewer herbicides, and I appreciate that given its location in the Adirondacks. Still, they are very playable and I had no problem hitting shots with spin into the greens. I was a fan of the "out and back" links-style layout. Just you and the golf course for 18 holes. No subdivisions, no traffic zooming by -- very few distractions of any kind. I loved this place, and I hope I can return someday.
