Chepstow Castle的点评
点评：We have passed through Chepstow many times whilst travelling up the Wye valley, but today decided to visit the imposing castle ruins which over look the River Wye.
We parked at the reasonably priced pay and display Castle Dell car park, three hours was just enough. The public toilets there are probably the best, cleanest facilities you can find.
An excellent and informative welcome at the Castle from the gentleman on the desk in the gift shop. He went through the map pointing out important areas and the audio guide points.
We took advantage of the audio guides, which were very helpful.
Immaculately kept, the information boards were helpful without being too intense. Despite not having children with us 'Horrible Histories' signs were particularly interesting.
The views from the curtain walls across the river and town were stunning.
It is an ancient building so access is naturally hard for the less mobile but the wonderful staff do all they can to make everyone feel welcome.
