Delightful visit and afternoon tea

点评：On a very cold and grey day we ventured to Portmerion. With two hours to film before our afternoon tea reservation we took time to walk the costal loop and woodland walk both of which were beautiful. We looped around the village investigating all its quirk and pathways and checked out the shops. Whilst slightly run down in places the village has a special quality, along with its positioning in an exceptionally beautiful part of wales.
We then went for our afternoon tea, which exceed expectations! The view out across the estuary is breath taking. The afternoon tea was abundant, both the savoury and sweet aspects were lovely and plentiful. As a vegetarian my selection was great, as was the standard selection which my partner had. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve had many and afternoon tea and this ranks pretty highly. Will definitely return at another time of year.
You need to book the afternoon tea in advance and it means free entry in to the visit so represents good value if you were wanting to visit and eat.
