This is a must see! Make a special trip to visit this museum!
Rotary Jail Museum的点评
点评：We are three senior women who take occasional road trips. We do extensive research and had a full itinerary on our May, 2025 trip to northern and central Indiana. We were intrigued by the idea of this Rotary Jail and added it to our list of things to see and do.
We came away astounded at the engineering, design, efficiency and ultimate downfall of this concept.
You MUST visit when you are in the area. There were only 18 of these Rotary Jails built, only three remain and this is the only one that is still operational IN THE WORLD! Check days and times because it is not open every day - but we really encourage everyone to plan their trip within Indiana to include this gem!
I am not a museum person. Give me 20 minutes and nearly any museum in the world and I will have had enough. But every so often I come across something that catches my attention and this was one of those places.
Their website can explain better than I can. What I can do is, once again, strongly encourage everyone who lives or visits nearby to visit.
