点评：We are an NGO that has been working in Ranthambhore since 1989 — proudly completing 36 years of dedicated service. Over the decades, we've helped transform the lives of 200+ women artisans from resettled villages who once lived in the forests of Ranthambhore.
When these communities were relocated to protect the forest, they lost not just their homes but also their means of livelihood. That’s when Dastkar was invited to begin an income generation program — creating sustainable employment through craft.
By training local women, we’ve not only provided them with financial independence, but have also helped revive nearly-lost traditional crafts such as Block Printing, Bandhani, and Black Pottery.
Our work is deeply rooted in empowerment, tradition, and conservation — every handcrafted piece tells a story of resilience, heritage, and harmony with nature.
