点评：I recently won a competition to win a nights stay in the Giraffe lodges. Me and my husband stayed this Saturday and it was wonderful. We got afternoon tea (which was absolutely delicious and about the best I’ve ever had), a safari trip, welcome drinks in Giraffe lodge bar/restaurant, an African themed dinner (starters, several mains and side dishes and dessert), a night in our own private giraffe glamping lodge (with en-suite bathroom), full breakfast and then another Safari the next day.
The venue, location and food were excellent, but the thing that stood out the most were the fantastic staff members. The reception staff, afternoon tea server, safari park ranger, and waiting staff/chef in the lodge restaurant were absolutely outstanding. Friendly, personable, polite and welcoming. We couldn’t fault any of them. Never before have we been so looked after and pampered.
Special thanks to Sid (our park ranger for the day and big boss) and Charlie (park ranger for Sunday. Both spoke with such passion and enthusiasm about the animals and the conservation work being done at the park. You could see how excited they both were to talk about the animals and answer questions. They truly made our experience unforgettable.
I’m unsure of the name of the lovely lady that looked after us all in the evening, but she had the most beautiful smile and was so sweet and hospitable.
My husband and I got married in February and could not afford a honeymoon and it was definitely fate that meant I won this competition. We have had the best time ever and would recommend to everyone.
