It never disappoints!
Port Lympne Reserve的点评
点评：We stay at Port Lymph a couple of times a year and it never disappoints. We chose the Mansion, there are both rooms and suites, this time we stayed in the Charlie Chaplin Suite. It’s so tastefully furnished and has a small extra sofa bedded room where the TV is. It is very quiet in the hotel. Your only disturbance is the roar of the lions which happened regularly when darkness falls or the call of the Gibbons when dawn breaks , both of which remind you where you are ! There is a huge range of accommodation types to suit all tastes and budgets. You get the use of a golf buggy which offers you so much freedom. We had the Rhino experience this time, the rangers are so informative and knowledgeable. We loved it and highly recommend. We went on the Safari trip, which again was so good, it lasts about 45 mins. We ate twice in the Garden Room for dinner, breakfast in here is included. We also ate in Baby Dolls (Wood fired Pizza). The Garden Room is superb, the food is of great quality and the staff so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Baby Dolls is smaller but has a great atmosphere equally the staff are so helpful.
The animals are so professionally cared for, it’s impressive. The rangers are always happy to stop and chat. The enclosures are large and relate to each species individually needs, you need to keep looking as you may not see them at first. We spent time just gazing. A particular interest to us was the tigers at the top of the sight, the pair in there was just being introduced last time we came, it seems they are getting on very well and the staff are hoping for the patter of tiny stripped paws in the future. I’m always sad when our trip is done, but looking forward to the next one already.
