Outdoor Heritage Museum的点评
点评：My Honey and I stopped by here on a Tuesday afternoon, while we were in the area vacationing. I believe this is the first time I have been inside, though I have come up to Rangeley for over thirty years.
There was a gentleman who volunteered at the museum that greeted us and gave us a quick rundown of the museum. There is a thirty minute video that you watch that is viewed in a old (over 100 yrs old) hunting cabin. The cabin was disassembled then reassembled for this museum. Very cool and interesting. The topics of the video (fly fishing, hotels that used to exists, local fly creators and guides, taxidermy, artists and famous celebrities that use to fish here) are later displayed in numerous rooms you walk through. Plenty of interesting displays that will keep you entertained and enthralled for an hour or two.
Definitely worth taking the time to visit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There even is a discount for first responders and veterans. You will learn so much about the history of the Rangeley Lakes region. We highly recommend.
