Peaceful...once you find the marsh and bypass the crowds!
Rattray Marsh Conservation Area的点评
点评：The boardwalks and pathways are well maintained and signage is helpful. We did not see any wildlife except for birds, but it was a beautiful place to go for a walk, and there were lots of pathways to explore.
The harder part was finding parking and finding the marsh. There were no signs at the entrance to Jack Darling Park so we had no idea where to park or where to go. Luckily a dog walker saw our confusion and gave us some very helpful directions.
So for those of you who have never been, here are a few tips:
- the park gets super busy on summer weekends, so get there before 10am if you want to park your car on-site
- park as far south (close to the lake) as you can, as the marsh is located southwest of Jack Darling Park
- there are no washrooms at the marsh but there are a number of them at JD Park
- the marsh entrance is located south west of JD Park
