A special needs child assaulted by another parent

点评：I visited bedgbury today and whilst attending your playpark my 3 year old son was assaulted by one of your adult customers.
He was playing in the playground when he tried to push past another child. I do not condone him pushing other children and feel this was learnt at nursery.
Before I had the chance to get to him and stop him from doing this (I was only a few steps away) the mother of the other child grabbed him by with both hands around his shoulders and pushed him away aggressively.
This is assault on a child and very unacceptable.
I had to leave straight away in sadness and anger. I did not have my phone in my pocket so I could not get a photo of the mother who assaulted my child.
All I can say is she was wearing an orange top, had dark hair and was with her husband and young daughter.
We only spent 2 hours there but had planned to spend the whole day.
This incident has made me feel like bedgbury is no longer a safe place to bring my children. I told the mother to remove her hands of my child and that her behaviour was disgusting. She replied saying but he pushed my child first! He’s 3, he has special needs and did not understand what was going on. We were both very upset.
I wanted to phone the police and bring this incident to attention. But without a photo of the person it will be hard to pin point the person who committed this crime.
It’s a sad world we live in when you can’t take your child for a day out at a reputable business without them being assaulted by an adult customer.
