The staff greeted us warmly, and our guide was not only knowledgeable about the rainforest but also incredibly patient with our kids, making sure they were engaged and enjoying the experience as much as we were.
The journey to Lake Sandoval itself was magical — spotting wildlife along the way, hearing the sounds of the jungle, and finally reaching the serene lake surrounded by lush forest. We saw giant river otters, colorful macaws, and so many other animals up close, which felt like a dream come true. The lodge accommodations were comfortable and clean, with delicious meals served every day.
Terra Quechua Peru made the entire trip seamless, from transfers to activities, and their attention to detail really stood out. As a family, we felt safe, well taken care of, and truly connected to the beauty of the Amazon.
