Lots of steps & inclines to top, but worth the trip.
伊维萨城堡的点评
点评：We were ignorant of the climb up to the Castle of Ibiza. After so many steps we thought we were there. But we weren’t. We struggled up all of the various inclines and steps to reach the top. We rested along the way because of my asthmatic shortness of breath and Husband’s plantar fasciitis. We found places to sit to regain breath and composure. Older and younger visitors passed us. No one judged. And we made it to the top! The journey was worth the destination.
We took pictures of the views along the way, and those views were spectacular. We photographed the steps to help others know what lies ahead if they accept the challenge to see the castle.
The trip down was easier. We stopped to watch rock doves congregating in flowers alongside the steps. We saw ruins on one side of the steps and a windmill off in the distance on the other side. We watched Eurasian Collared Doves root for food. We wound up in the Placa del Sol, and visited shops and perused menus.
We are glad that we made the trek to the Castle of Ibiza.
