温德米尔布罗克霍尔湖的点评
点评：Firstly let me just start by saying that this is maybe our 3rd or 4th time visiting Brockholes in the last 7 years or so , we have absolutely loved it in the past and have recommended it to people over the years as a ‘must do’ when visiting the lakes. I’ve got to say though this will be our last time visiting unless something changes. We booked the treetop nets for our children (13, 9 and 6) and although they did enjoy it there was absolutely nothing for us to do in the meantime. I had raved to my family about the gorgeous cakes in the cafe in brockhole house, the cafe looks to be have been closed for some time and the house is left in disrepair. It’s such a sad sight for such a beautiful building. Considering it was half term when we visited the place was empty, maybe due to the extortionate car parking charges? We paid nearly £100 for the tree top net visit is that not enough? My daughter absolutely loved the horse riding last time we visited and I had messaged Brockhole on social media to enquire about it before we came , I got no response. When I arrived and saw the empty stables I could see why. A lot of the activities are gone and the ones that remain are a rip off. And what’s with the out of place carousel? Someone please buy Brockhole and return it to its former glory!
