点评：Well, you read reviews that say it’s a disappointment, so rang ahead to be told by AI that the centre was open and you could find out about the activities there.
What a complete waste of time and parking money, paid £5.50 for 2 hours, we spent less than 1 hour there.
Asked a person who was making sure everyone had a parking ticket where the information centre was, followed his instructions, found a cabin up the top of a steep slope/ steps, to be told no you need to go to the White House, further up the slope. Eventually made it to find out it was closed.
The information centre was closed as an employee told us they only open at weekends! Someone else said it’ll be open next week because it is half term. Everywhere else in the country diploids a price hyke for three weeks to cover half term. It says on the parking machine that the money gained from parking goes to the running of the centre, clearly they are not bothered outside school holidays. Waste of good space, a large section was closed off because it had been decorated for halloween
starting 25th October.
The fliers state a specially designed track has been made for off-road carting. Doesn’t exist.
This was a total waste of time, especially as I struggle to go up steep slopes / steps.
Would not recommend anyone going here as those that run it obviously don’t care either way as long as you pay the higher price for parking.
