点评：The museum is an interesting piece of history and a story that should be told. Impressive that a museum of this history can be family owned.
The young man giving the tour was informative and this museum seems to be his legacy but the interpretation (the tour) needs to be refreshed. This is apparent in how the tour itself is delivered. There are plenty of facts but they are rambled off quickly at a monotone pitch. Make it more conversational for guests. Remember we are guests who have chosen to spend our day visiting this location instead of another. The movie needs a refresh too. Its very fast paced and one tone. No pauses. Hard to receive the information.
We overheard a person working at the museum state that people aren't interested in history they just want to see a jail. Not true. We were there for Molly Maguire history. We met people people visiting there who said they were interested in 19th century incarceration history.
This venue would be fabulous for off tour hour programs such as guest speakers on Irish history or mining history or even tasting local wine or brews. So much potential.
