点评：This is the most beautiful and moving war memorial we’ve seen for Canada — truly a must-do, especially for fellow Canadians. The site is both powerful and peaceful, honoring the sacrifice of so many with dignity and care.
We were especially impressed that the Canadian government employs bilingual Canadian university students as guides. Their passion and knowledge added so much depth to our visit.
One of the highlights was the preserved tunnels, which you can access by signing up on-site for a free 30-minute guided tour with one of these incredible students. It was a meaningful and informative experience that helped bring the history to life.
Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to explore — there’s a lot to see, including the main memorial, visitor centre, preserved trenches, and ceremonial grounds. The entire site is exceptionally well maintained and deeply respectful.
An unforgettable experience that left us feeling proud and reflective. Highly recommended.
