Such an interesting place to visit.

点评：The home of Sir Winston Churchill in the Kent countryside. We visited here during the August holiday, so it was understandably very crowded. That said it has a huge car park and we managed to park easily.
The house if full of artifacts and memorabilia from Mr.Churchill's life and you can easily spend hours here. Unfortunately the "uniform" room was closed during our visit which was a bit of a disappointment, but it can't be helped. The gardens are huge and you can see the black swans that live there. There is also an outlying building that houses Mr.Churchill's vast works of art and if you wish you can also partake of a lecture.
The staff here were excellent and very knowledgeable with one exception. There was a very tall guide who was stationed in an upstairs room, I think it was Mr.Churchill's study/library, where a huge banner was hanging from the ceiling. I mentioned to the guide that it was the Churchill coat of arms, but he said that it was the coat of arms of the Order of the Bath - sorry buddy, but you're wrong!
All in all an excellent visit and I can highly recommend going here when you're in the area.
