点评：My son is a railroad fanatic and anywhere we travel if there is a train available he definitely wants to take a ride.
The tickets can be book via the Instagram page (The Panama Railway). The cost of the tickets are $40.00 for adults and $20.00 for a children. The panoramic tickets are $50.00 for adults and $25.00 for children.
However, if you are booking from the United States it might be difficult to use this site. My credit card declined on a few occasions because fraud was detected. Thus, I had to use a tour company to book the tickets which costed a bit more.
The day of the ride you must reach the Panama Railway terminal by 8:30am. The train will depart for a round trip to Colon with an immediate return at 9:00am. The trip concludes at approximately 12:30pm. The Panama Railway seating is very comfortable. While aboard you will receive information regarding the history of the railway in English and Spanish. In addition, you will be given a snack box with a few facts printed on it. There are also snacks and beverages for purchase if you desire. The attendants on the train do an exceptional job of singing if you are celebrating a special occasion. In addition, you can also meet some new friends to pass the time. I met a wonderful woman from Hawaii and a nice couple from New Zealand. I must admit that an excellent time was had by all.
