Well worth a visit
Warrington Museum & Art Gallery的点评
点评：We had been to a concert the previous evening, staying in the local Travelodge, which was, incidentally ok and very good value. We thought we'd have a look round before we went home. We meant to just do a quick tour of this museum but in the end spent several house there. It's a very eclectic selection of artefacts there, but pretty enjoyable. Local history, local geology, local wildlife and local artistry. Whe I think of the number of times I've been to Warrington for work, yet never visted this place, I feel ashamed. It helps that everybody is friendly and willing to pass the time of day with you. Don't do as I have done for the last thirty years, miss the place completely due to prejudice. I had always ranked Warrington with Swindon - a new techno town that had dispensed with its heritage. Not fair (it's not even fair to Swindon, which also has some worthwhile places to visit.
