点评:Very nicely put together collection of items relating to the civil war in the area. There is a great movie, Field of Lost Shoes which you can watch here (it is about 45 minutes long). We watched it on you tube prior, but it wasn't the same version we watched here. Learn about how the cadets from the military academy were called to fight in the war. There is also a gallery of art. The downstairs has historical artifacts, many of which were removed when we were here due to some water damage. The things we did see were quite interesting. I didn't see an elevator to the downstairs which would have made this more accessible to all. We did not walk the field, but there are plaques describing the different events along a walking path(I think it was a mile, but not for sure). The Bushong House still stands further down the road and you can drive down that direction also.
